What does Searcy Sports Do?
SearcySports uses state of the art
professional still digital cameras to photograph sports,
events and activities. Our specialty is action and
candid sports photography. SearcySports will photograph
the participants of the events and post the thumbnails
online. The participants can then view and order
photographs from the web site. I can work with teams,
organizations, and events of all sizes to provide
professional photographic services. Contact
SearcySports
to schedule your event(s).
Will you REPOST the images for me if they have already
been removed?
SearcySports always keeps all images (even those no
longer viewable online). If you want a gallery reposted,
there is a $50.00 fee. The gallery will not be reposted
until we have received your payment. Once we receive
payment, we will repost the gallery. When requesting
that we repost the gallery, please include the Name of
the Event and the Date. If you have a specific athlete
you are interested in viewing, you must also provide
that athlete's description, number and color of uniform.
How
do we get copies of the photographs?
You can order photographs 2 ways; By using the online
ordering system which can be submitted online using your
credit card , PayPal, or sent in by postal mail. When
ordering online, you must fill out ALL of the fields on
the form. A valid email address must be used, or your
order will not be processed.
How
do I pay for my photographs?
We accept Checks, Credit Cards, Money Orders and cash.
If you want to pay for your order by Check or Money
Order, we will not process your order until we have
received payment from you.
How long does it take to get my prints?
Under normal circumstances you should receive your
prints within 10-15 business days after ordering prints
(This is about 3 weeks). Occasionally, this delivery
time may be slightly longer during busy periods and in
some cases...you may get your prints much sooner. If you
do need your order to be processed quickly, there is a
$15.00 RUSH FEE and you MUST tell us you want the order
RUSHED.
Why do
the images look bad when I try to print them?
The images you see online are thumbnails and LOW
resolution only. To get true photographs of these
images, place an order with SearcySports. Trying to
obtain low resolution images not only short changes you
the customer, but it also makes us look bad....we want
everyone to be happy.
Can you
just send me the negatives?
SearcySports uses state of the art professional digital
photographic equipment to capture images. This means a
higher quality product for you. With digital
photography, there are no negatives.
Will you send
me a full sized digital file?
We normally will not
send a customer the digital image. This is what we use
to create the photographs you order. If you are
insistent on the digital file...remember they are
much more expensive than a print. Digital files are
800x600 and sell for $25.00 per image and MUST BE
PREPAID!
Can I
make copies of the photographs I purchased?
The images you have purchased are copyrighted by
SearcySports. If you would like additional copies,
please contact SearcySports to order reprints. All
contents and photographic images at the SearcySports
website are copyrighted material.
Will my images be better than the Low Resolution Images
Online?
In a word...YES!! Your images will be clear and sharp,
and printed just like a regular photograph. The way the
images uploaded online may result in jagged edges if you
print them on your own printer. Your ordered photographs
will not be like this. If you are not completely
satisfied, just return the photos and pay for nothing
(you must return the photos for a credit).
The photo I am interested in looks blurry. Will it
print better?
Maybe. Although the files that are used to print photos
have considerably more resolution than the photos you
view on screen, blurry images are exactly that. They are
either out of focus or motion-blurred. Why do I display
them? Because in many circumstances they may be a one of
a kind shot. What you see on screen is comparable to
what you'll get on paper in most cases. Sharp photos
will be readily apparent and look better the bigger you
print them. Unsharp photos will remain unsharp, and may
get worse as they are made bigger. Some unsharp photos
may look decent at 4"x6" or 5"x7", but will begin to
degrade severely as they are made larger. If you have a
question about a photo and the quality, please feel free
to email me with your questions.
