About SearcySports
SearcySports was started in the spring of 2002. The
sole purpose of SearcySports photography is to
provide high quality photographs with the emphasis
on the competitor. The end result will be that your
event will be captured with both traditional and not
so traditional photographs. Although we cover as many
events as possible, we cannot cover them all.
Additionally, we cannot always photograph every
player, but we do try to cover as many competitors as
possible when shooting. When the albums are posted,
we normally leave them up for approximately 6-8
weeks, but with so many photos and events,
eventually they have to be removed to make room for
newer events...so galleries are rotated on the
"First in...First out" principle.
Fully Digital
Photos are taken with a state of the art digital
camera. The quality of today's digital quality
rivals and many times exceeds the quality of film
photography. Digital allows a faster turn around
time for you to receive your photos. And because
film cost is not an issue, many times I can take 3-4
times the number of photos a traditional
photographer can shoot.
Personal Attention
Unlike many other
photographers that shoot team photos, we place an
emphasis not just on the action shots, but also
provide candid shots that shows the preparation,
concentration and triumphs of the athlete. You've
heard the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand
words", well, are intention is to tell the whole
story. Every photo we take is given personal
attention and retouched to look its best. If you
have ANY additional questions, please refer to our
FAQ (frequently asked
questions) page.
Photo Artistry
Your photos are given a unique look that can be
customized any way you wish. Styles can include, but
are not limited to black and white, sepia toned,
water colored, oil painting, and colorized. In
addition to the artistic side of Photo Artistry is
the ability to remove distracting items from the
photo. Custom text may also be included as well as a
variety of effects.
